Hi! I’m Gracie Perkins, an Appalachian State University senior majoring in public relations and journalism with a minor in English.

I am passionate about clear communication that is genuinely engaging. Whether through strategic messaging, reporting or creative writing, I am drawn to the power of a well-told story. I have worked to build a strong foundation in media writing, campaign planning and audience connection. I’m especially interested in work that brings people together and builds community. Because of this, it has been essential for me to strengthen my voice and learn to tell stories in ways that connect with diverse audiences. 

At the core of my work are the values that matter most to me: honesty, respect, and kindness. I believe that communication is more than information; it is intention. I choose to be intentional with every word and action, which is highlighted in how I approach writing, editing, problem-solving and collaboration.
